Future Haunts – I Can’t Change The Way You Change

Thu 11 Nov
Recorded at The Plutonium by Aidan Hogg (Jaguar Jonze and every Brisbane band ever) the EP comes off the back of 2 EP’s and a handful of successful singles, each better than the last.
There’s more layers, more guitar and singer Ben Speight really shines as he has more fun with his singing style. Every song has so many layers of guitars, some it seems just for percussive means, but each one holds it’s own adding to the overall quality of the EP perfectly.

Songs like the opening track “Old Rope” and EP closer “Barking At Trains” makes you want to drive out west, windows down and head out the window. They have a sense of welcome melancholia to them, a similar feeling to The War On Drugs and Good Morning.

As a band that proves every release is better than the last, we can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
